The Eresus moravicus, commonly known as the Gold Face Velvet Spider, is a rare and eye-catching species prized for its bold coloration and fuzzy velvet-like appearance. Males of this species develop brilliant red and gold tones as they mature, while females retain a striking velvety black and gold sheen. Native to parts of Europe, E. moravicus is a slow-growing species that thrives in well-ventilated enclosures with dry to moderately humid setups.

These are larger juveniles at approximately ¼”+ in size, well-started, and feeding steadily. Gold Face Velvet Spiders are excellent display animals due to their vibrant colors and hardy nature.
