Uroplatus fimbriatus ssp., or the Sarasinorum Gecko, is a nocturnal, arboreal species native to Madagascar. Best known for its cryptic camouflage and leaf-like tail, the patternless morph is extremely rare in captivity and prized for its bold simplicity and smooth finish.

These geckos thrive in tall, well-ventilated tropical enclosures with stable humidity, live plants, bark hides, and gentle ambient lighting. As with most Uroplatus, they are a species best enjoyed as a visual centerpiece — not for handling.
