Originating from the remote Socotra Island off the coast of Yemen, this species is known for its metallic blue legs, creamy body, and rare communal behavior.

This listing is for an unsexed ~1” sling, already well-started and thriving. While this is an Old World species, M. balfouri tends to be less defensive than most in its category. However, they are still extremely fast, reclusive, and better suited for intermediate to advanced keepers. In the right setup, this species may even be kept communally — though this should only be attempted by experienced keepers.
