The Brazilian Blue Tarantula is a dazzling New World species famous for its vibrant blue coloration and velvety black body. Endemic to Brazil, this terrestrial tarantula is fast-growing and tends to be skittish and reclusive, making it better suited for intermediate to advanced keepers. Despite its beauty, it’s not ideal for handling and may flick urticating hairs when disturbed.
At ¼”, this sling is small but healthy and feeding well—an exciting long-term project for hobbyists looking to raise one of the most visually stunning tarantulas in the hobby.
